Just some random thing I wrote tonight:
Against the impossible odds,
Held up in the safe house of my mind.
Wasting away to the nothingness of the dead air.
Greenhouses spring to life before me,
Turned nothing now.
Stepping out into the light,
Suddenly hung upon the wall.
The piñata of hope,
The beacon of no mercy.
Surrounded by the hope I once had,
Hordes of tears run down my face
As I watch the ideas I had thrown up upon,
Like the faint ideas lost in the riverside.
Torn apart, ripped, dragged, beaten, yelled at like a fallen star,
Waiting for the fragile wings to fill with the hope I pour from a loaded gun.
The single shot sounded,
Calling my own death toll…

I usually can't hear what everybody is saying because of the non-stop
shooting
in L4D. Very nice writing though
