OK, so here's the deal. Our host is not happy with us hosting the master server. They will be deleting
the account if the usage is too high. So, were left with 2 choices. Drop support for AVP2. FOREVER. Or, move the master server.
Luckily for you, we chose the latter. So this once again means... ANOTHER patch. The master server is now being hosted on a dedicated server to prevent any further issues. I ask of you all, if you wish to donate some money, $1, $2 it is very very much appreciated. Don't feel a need to donate, were not in this for the money. It's merely to cover server costs.
PLEASE NOTE. THIS IS A NEEDED UPDATE. IF YOU DO NOT UPDATE, YOU CANNOT PLAY. SIMPLE AS THAT. THIS GOES FOR SERVERS AS WELL!!!!
Directions:
1: (EASIEST METHOD) Launch AutoUpdate.exe and allow the program to patch itself.
2: Download the patch by CLICKING HERE
3: Download the full install by CLICKING HERE
You will also find this included in Rommie's server in a few days, maybe even as little as a few hours. Happy hunting!
Some people are having problems with 1.2.2. This patch is set to fix the crashing. If your current version works, you do not need to update. However if your still running 1.2 or 1.2.1 YOU NEED TO UPDATE.
