Trying to get the programmer back on BF2142 still, he is being tied up on BFBC2 PC version.

As for the changelist you know this is a small update in terms of fixes and is aimed at adding more security fixes onto accounts to stop spoofing.

Other things you will see are:

No DRM method on the exe as with BF2 (No more SafeDisc, PACE or SecuROM (depending on which version of BF2142...

Hello, I am =NLTT= KillZ-2-MucH, a sub command member of the North Lawn tag team.

I come here to ask if your admins could unban me, and the other members that were banned just a few moments ago.
As you may not know, =NLTT= is a hack/cheat/glitch free clan and, for that reason screen, we our members for any history of hacking or anything of the such. This to say that we do not hack.

Fix For Punkbuster Initialization Problem

Toxic was good enough to give to me this link to Even Balance Tech Support. It fixed my problem with Punkbuster failing to re-initialize itself during the game.

I am not sure if Toxic has publicized this fix so I am posting the info here.

Lost CD Key

Hello gang... been a long while. I had vacation this week and decided to reinstall BF2142. Thanks to Kamikaze Snake who remembered who I am.

Was nice playing for a while... I hope to be around some. I work 60+ hours a week (overtime is great if you have something more than bills to spend it on --- BTW, don't buy a house at the peak of the housing boom and then refinance right before the crash/pop)...

Better Video resolution than the options in Control setup

I was playing with MG739 and Slydog the other day and I can't remember which said they wanted higher video resolution. Well here is how I do it. I use the same method I did for BF2.
Right click your game Icon
Select Properties
In the target: it shows the full path and program and after it are some runtime parameters: because I have a 22" monitor I set it at max (+menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050). This also works for BF2, but the other parameters are...

I traded a dozen messages with EA before we came accross the right steps to get it installed so I thought I would share the experience.

Before purchasing make sure you know your EA account logon name. It is the E-Mail address you used when you registered and the password, also the exact spelling of the name you use in game (they call it the screen name).
Install their Download Manager
Purchase and download the game, then decompress but do not...

please down load this .exe file http://www.securom.com/support/customers/EA/BATTLEFIELD2142DELUXE_t0033/BF2142.zip and delete the old bf2142.exe in the 2142 folder an replace it with the new down load .exe u should have no problem loading up the game after that see u out there in SG-2 sever

I was wondering what everyones opionion about these two special ranks are. I've heard alot about how to get these ranks, the most common is that there EA-DICE reserved ranks. I doubt this mainly because of the fact I've seen 3 players in game who all claim that there not EA-DICE employees. One of these is is Wildace, someone I meet on Xfire.
